Sustainable Coastlines
Sustainable Coastlines is a very important
organisation, they help keep our beaches
clean and are trying to stop marine pollution.
Nearly every day they are out on Rangitoto
We all need to help them out by not littering
on the street because when the rain comes
it washes all the rubbish away and down into
the drains, also by using alot less plastic.
Animals are starting to get poisoned and killed
by plastic in our waters!
They think it"s food and start to eat it which is really bad.
This is especially happening to turtles because
they prey on jellyfish and when they see
a plastic bag in the water they think it is
a jellyfish so they start to eat it.
We really need to stop littering because
it is harming our sea animals!!!
