Saving the Sealife

Saving the sea

Today we learnt that we actually have turtles in the Hauraki Gulf. They won't be there much longer if we keep littering. The turtles eat plastic bags thinking they're jellyfish and end up dying. It's a bad problem that we need to stop.
As well as turtles dieing so are bird, fish and other sea animals. Plastic is the main problem, we can fix by reusing, reducing and recycling.
We are showing this by using rubbish to make art for Art in the Dark.
Art In The Dark is a festival of lights in the dark. It has got  projected art and recycled art.
