Rainy Day

As the rain dribbles down the windows 

I lie in bed listening to the rain hit the steel roof

And the fat drops hit the window sill.

Its toasty warm inside, out I bet its freezing.

I snuggle into my duvet and now I'm soundly sleeping.

Big eyes green,

Huge feet purple,

Stripy coat.

She acts like a goat.

Found her in a rubbish dump.

I said this is going to be Mrs Gnome

She is friendly, always hungry. 

But best of all 

I can dress her up in a tutu.

Fish come in so many shapes and sizes,

They come with scales,

Some fish are big some fish are small,

some fish are served...  on a dinner plate.

creep 

into bed in the dark

I hear howling noises!

So I quickly turn and sprint for the light.

Oh! it is just the window.

I quickly shut it.

I step closer to get to bed.

 keeping my eye out for whatever's moving.

Wait....

from the corner of my eye I see something move...

Once more I rush for the light,

nothing's

there 

to be seen.

Under My Bed..

                                    Whats under my bed ?

What's under my bed? I don't know, do you?

My dad says there's nothing but I get scared even so.

What's under my bed?
A ghost?
A monster?
or maybe even toads?

I don't want slimy things creeping out at night!

So when I go to bed before I turn out my light,

My dad comes in and we check together and then I know 
I'm safe for another night of soundless sleeping. 

Whats under my bed?
...nothing I guess.
