Rainy Day

As the rain dribbles down the windows
I lie in bed listening to the rain hit the steel roof
And the fat drops hit the window sill.
Its toasty warm inside, out I bet its freezing.
I snuggle into my duvet and now I'm soundly sleeping.

  1. Your poem has vivid describing words. I can her the rain dribbling and feel the warm duvet. Sounds like your poem is getting you ready for a rainy Auckland winter!

    Great writing,

    Keep it up!
